1. Who We Are

ChainShot ("we," "us," or "our") operates the algorithmic trading signal platform at chainshot.trade and the associated Discord server. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@chainshot.trade.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

Usage / analytics	Vercel Analytics (privacy-first, cookieless)	Aggregate page view counts and performance metrics. No personal identifiers are collected.

We do not collect or store trading account credentials, portfolio data, or brokerage information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• Assign and verify Discord role access for Pro subscribers.
• Send you the white paper or product updates you opted into.
• Respond to support requests sent to our email.
• Monitor aggregate site performance (no individual tracking).

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

ChainShot relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe stores your payment method and billing history. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Discord — Signal delivery and community. See discord.com/privacy.
• Vercel — Website hosting and analytics. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Fonts — Font loading (Inter typeface). A connection to Google's servers is made when the page loads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

ChainShot does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Vercel Analytics uses a cookieless, privacy-first approach — no personal identifiers are stored or transmitted. No third-party ad trackers are present on chainshot.trade.

6. Data Retention

• Email addresses (waitlist): Retained until you request deletion or the white paper is released, whichever comes first.
• Subscription records: Retained by Stripe per their data retention policy for billing and legal compliance purposes.
• Support emails: Retained for up to 2 years for reference and dispute resolution.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your email address from our waitlist at any time.
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Opt-out — Unsubscribe from any email communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@chainshot.trade. We will respond within 30 days.

For subscription and payment data managed by Stripe, you may access and manage your billing information directly through your Stripe customer portal.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold, including HTTPS encryption on all pages and use of Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for any accounts associated with the Service.

9. Children's Privacy

ChainShot is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@chainshot.trade and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and announce material changes in the ChainShot Discord server. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
